Grading calculator

Is this Pokémon card worth grading?

Compare what you would net from selling a graded copy against simply selling the card raw, after grading fees, shipping, and selling fees. You choose which grade outcomes to test; the calculator does not predict the grade your card will get.

Loaded: Hustle Belt 134/168

Celestial Storm. Raw value uses the BinderLens Near Mint estimate of $0.33 (confidence Low, based on 1 recent price, refreshed Oct 9, 2026). Graded prices are filled in only for grades with at least 3 logged slab sales. Prices apply to the catalog card number, so confirm your printing and edit any value.

How the calculation works

For each grade you enter: proceeds = graded sale price × (1 − selling fee) − that company's grading fee − shipping − other costs. The result compares proceeds with the raw value, because grading means giving up the raw sale.

Break-even sale price = (raw value + grading fee + shipping + other costs) ÷ (1 − selling fee). A graded copy has to sell for at least this much to beat selling raw. It differs by company when their grading fees differ.

AGS 10 rule of thumb: if you leave AGS 10 blank, the calculator assumes 2.5× raw, which is typical for modern cards; strong cards can reach 10×. Estimated rows are marked with an asterisk. Enter a real sale price whenever you have one.

Any other grade left blank is shown as unavailable, never as zero. The calculation leaves out taxes, price movement while the card is at the grader, turnaround time, and the chance of a lower grade than you tested. A profitable 10 row does not mean grading is likely to pay off; it depends on the grade your card actually receives.

Graded sale prices on BinderLens card pages show whether they come from logged slab sales or a reference price. How graded values are sourced.
